How to read this Atlas
We separate what the Atlas currently governs from what is still being proposed. That distinction is part of the product, not fine print.
Names, lineages, typological families, periods, access protocols and reading links come from the normalized effective view after ACT-000005.
The structured country layer is a review workbook. It has not written back to the governed Atlas, and every country-derived display is labeled accordingly.
The governed source prose remains private. Public geographic context is derived at country level or broader.
Texts, diaspora traditions and genuinely global currents can be marked as having no single country.
Geography stops at country level. We publish no coordinates or location detail that narrows a community-held site.
472 historical-or-contested relations remain explicit without asking the Atlas to take a political position.
Canonical and alternate names, parent tradition, Macro Family, safety-reduced geographic context, period, entry type, living or historical status, access protocol, source links, named cross-links and a plain-language source-and-record status.
The six public statuses are descriptive, not a numerical ranking. They distinguish direct, cluster-level and related-entry sourcing from contested, composite and independently unverified records.
Audit actions, audit notes, workflow batches and raw internal verification labels remain outside the public payload.
22 entries are exclusively evidence-unassessable for country extraction. A thin extraction is reported, never disguised as a clean one.
The public payload identifies its source activation and keeps effective entry data separate from candidate geography.
